We change The Yurt menu all the time.
In fact, if you come for lunch on Monday, it may well be different by breakfast on Tuesday. We do this to ensure that we always use the freshest local produce, nothing gets old or becomes boring, and you get to try something completely different each time you join us.
As menus go, ours is rather innovative; we don’t differentiate between courses. If you want a double-chocolate brownie for a starter and Mussels for dessert, then be our guest.
Whilst our menu is regularly changing, here is a sample menu to give you an idea of what you can expect from your visit to the Yurt.
Breakfast is a simple list of our favourite day-starters, packed with protein and other good stuff, this list will certainly get you off to a great start. Even if you opt for a Baked Vanilla Cheesecake!
For lunch, we do have a few faves – a couple that always catch our eye, that we can’t bear to let go of. You’ll probably see those a lot. We’ve listed a few of our ‘crème de la crème’ below, just to tease you…
Asiette of Beetroot Salmon, Marinated Gravlax, Smoked Salmon & Fennel, served with Capers & Shallot Salad & Sourdough Carpaccio.
Our Salmon comes from the lovely people at Uig Lodge in Scotland who always bring the freshest fish. Our Sourdough bread is baked in-house and our salad is from the delightful Mark at North Aston Organics.
Slices of Rare Roast Beef, Roasted Red Onion, Horseradish Potato Salad & North Aston Leaves.
We choose only the finest local Beef from Toddenham Manor Farm and slice it to order and have I mentioned delightful Mark?
We make fresh soup every day and like to try new flavours, we keep our soup Vegan friendly and serve it with freshly baked crusty bread.
If scones are your thing, then Penny our Pastry Chef has a treat for you. She bakes light and fluffy scones and serves them with North Aston Dairy cream and sweet jam. Perfect with a coffee made from fresh beans from Jericho Coffee Traders.
Our menu is as locally sourced as possible and is comprised with care and attention. We pride ourselves on our devotion to serving quality food that everyone can enjoy. We incorporate a range of Gluten Free options as well as Vegetarian and Vegan options.
Breakfast is served from 09:00-11:30 Monday to Saturday and then Lunch from 12. Sweet treats are available all day.
